This recipe is for the beloved Honey Lime Dressing they used to serve at the Walt Disney World Polynesian Resort, at the ‘Ohana dinner.
- 1/4 cup of a white onion
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup honey (hint – spray the inside of the measuring cup with cooking spray, so the honey pours out easily)
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup olive or canola oil
- Place all ingredients except the oil into food processor and blend until everything is smooth and frothy.
- Slowly incorporate 1 cup of oil into the mixture and continue to blend until well incorporated.
This dressing can be used over a salad, broccoli slaw, or even as a veggie dip…anything you want to add pure deliciousness to!
IF there are any leftovers, place in a mason jar and refrigerate. The ingredients will separate, so give the jar a good shake before you use it, to reincorporate the oil.
