Ingredients

  • 1 9 inches deep dish pie crust, frozen
  • 5-6 slices of bacon or turkey bacon diced
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1 ¼ cups shredded Mozzarella cheese divided
  • 2 green onion diced

Instructions

Step 1

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

Step 2

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Set it aside.

Step 3

  • Begin layering the ingredients in the bottom of the pie crust:
  • Start with the spinach
  • Next, add the chopped bacon
  • Now, top with one cup cheese
  • Finally, sprinkle the green onions over the top
  • Very gently, pour the egg mixture over the pie filling, making sure it gets into all of the crevices.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top

Step 4

  • Place the pie tin on a baking sheet and bake in your preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is slightly puffed and starting to brown. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean when it’s ready. Allow the finished quiche to cool slightly before cutting. Serve warm or at room temperature.
