Ingredients
1.5poundsground turkey breast
1/3cupbread crumbs
2eggs
1tablespoonolive oil
1/4cupwater
3tablespoonsketchup
1TbspWorcestershire sauce
1Can condensed French onion soup10.5 ounces
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Step One
Using your hands, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, water, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Divide the ground meat mixture into 6 equal portions and press each into a 2-inch-thick patty.
Note: ground turkey is a bit "mushier" than lean ground beef. The patties will be somewhat sticky and not as neat as hamburger patties.
Step Two
Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the pan brown both sides (about 3 -4 minutes per side.) Make sure that they get a nice brown on them, or it will be more difficult to remove them from the pan - the inside of the patty will still be raw at this point.
Once browned, remove the patties from the pan and set them aside to keep warm.
Step 3
Add water, ketchup, Worchestershire sauce, soup, and pepper to the hot skillet and whisk to combine.
Bring to a boil and return patties to the large skillet.
Reduce heat to medium low heat, cover, and allow to simmer until the brown sauce mixture for 10 minutes.
Remove the lid and return the gravy to a boil for a minute or two - until the liquid has reduced a bit and the patties have an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
