Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next, in a large bowl combine ground beef, dry onion soup mix, eggs, ketchup, bread crumbs, water, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
Mix all of the ingredients together with your hands until all of the ingredients are combined.
Place the ground meat mixture in a greased loaf pan or form it into a loaf shape on a greased or aluminum foil lined baking dish.
Spread a thin layer of ketchup or, for a sweeter flavor, barbeque sauce, over the top of the entire meatloaf.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, until the internal temperature of the center of the loaf is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
To help prevent crumbling when slicing, let the meatloaf rest for about 5 minutes before you cut into it.
Store leftover meatloaf in the refrigerator in an airtight container. This easy recipe makes the BEST meatloaf sandwiches the next day!
