Brussels sprouts
trimmed and halved

olive oil

garlic powder

tsp
sea salt

black pepper

tbsp
maple syrup
optional

tbsp
balsamic glaze
Chopped parsley or chives
for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
Once the oil shimmers, place Brussels sprouts cut-side down in a single layer. Let them sear undisturbed for 5 to 7 minutes until golden and crisp.
Sprinkle with garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
Stir and roast another 5 to 7 minutes, until tender with crispy edges.
Optional: Add maple syrup during the last 1 to 2 minutes for a caramelized glaze.
Remove from heat and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Garnish with herbs if using. Serve warm.
