Sweet Fun Confetti Dip

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 8 Tbsp butter softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup confetti edible sprinkles + extra for topping
  • Assorted cookies and fresh fruit of choice for serving

Instructions

  • Cream the cream cheese and butter in a large bowl with a whisk or an electric mixer.
  • Next, add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  • Beat until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Fold in the confetti sprinkles and transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  • Finally, top with extra sprinkles and serve alongside cookies and fresh fruit.

Notes

Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure your cream cheese and butter are at room temperature for easy mixing and a smooth texture.
  • Use an electric mixer if you want a super light and fluffy dip. A whisk works fine but will require a bit more elbow grease.
  • Fold in the sprinkles gently to keep their colors intact. Stirring too much might cause them to bleed.
  • You can prepare the dip a few hours in advance. Just cover it tightly and refrigerate. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before serving to soften.
