Print Recipe
Ground turkey pattie span-seared and simmered in a simple French onion gravy. Ready in about 30 minutes and great over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground turkey breast
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Can condensed French onion soup 10.5 ounces
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, water, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix with your hands until just combined. Divide into 6 equal portions and press each into a patty about 2 inches thick.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • Add the water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, condensed soup, and pepper to the skillet. Whisk to combine and bring to a boil.
  • Return the patties to the skillet. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and bring the gravy back to a boil for 1 to 2 minutes until it reduces slightly. Check that the patties have reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Serve with gravy spooned over the top.
