How to Make This Easy Recipe For Crispy Honey Mustard Wings
Step One
Begin by placing the top oven rack in the center position and pre-heating your oven to 425°F.
Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step Two
Place wings on the large baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring that they are not touching each other or over-crowded. Season the wings with salt and pepper.
Next, bake the wings for about 45-50 minutes until the skin is browned and crispy.
Step Three
While the chicken wings are baking, add the minced garlic and butter to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until garlic has softened, approximately 1-2 minutes.
Next, turn the burner heat down to low and add the honey and Dijon mustard. Stir until everything is combined.
Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until the honey has completely dissolved.
Remove the pan from heat and stir in hot sauce, if desired.
Step Four
Once the chicken wings have finished baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the top and toss until the wings are well coated with the sauce.
You can either serve the wings immediately or place them on a large sheet pan lined with aluminum foil and broil for 1-2 minutes until the sauce is browned and bubbly.
